 The Spirit of Water |
First in a series of Elementals, the Spirit of Water appeared to me in a shamanic journey during a thunder storm on the Maine coast. I hadn't a clue what it looked like however until I sat with the sparkling blue clay in my hands. With webbed fingers he holds an offering of the crystal drops in thanks and sends its blessing down into the land. He stands at peace, uplifting, a cleansing and renewing force, refreshingly cool. The tail of his garment trails behind like a waterfall, stitched with liquid silver foam patterns to match his pants and inner sleeves. Crystal drops hang from his collar. Sculpted in a metalic light blue Sculpey III, with sparkling crystal eyes, and a custom clear plexiglass stand.  Click Here for a Close-up Portrait
