"Fantastic Figures"
An 11 week course, will be given at Creative Arts Workshop in New Haven. Call 562-4927 for information and registration. Runs Thursday evenings 7-10 PM beginning September 28. New 6-week session starts in January 2001.

"Create-A-Character"
I offer one or two-day workshops for all ages in which you will create and costume an amazing new character from Super Sculpey, wire, batting and fabrics etc. I guide you through this creative birthing process. (Believe it or not!) Makes a great Birth-Day Party for a small group! Presented at The Art Studio at Sanford Barn in Hamden, CT. or in my own studio.

Green Spirit Studio: I also teach small workshops intermittantly in more advanced/specific technical aspects of doll-making at my own studio here in Hamden, CT: Sculpting Faces, Figures, Costuming/ Pattern-making".

I have taught these workshops to elementary through high school students and art teachers, as well as the general public, second-graders through adults, parents and kids together, boys and girls, or women only. Anyone can do it!! I promise! It's thrilling and most amazing to see so many very different characters born at once!

During the past couple years I have taken some tremendous workshops with wonderful doll artists Annie Wahl, Wendy Froud, Jo Ellen Trilling, Mary Anne Oldenburg, Diane Keeler and numerous others in various specialties. Everyone has their own gems to share.

I have years of experience in teaching quite a variety of artforms from K through Adult, at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, Santa Barbara Museum of Art, Rhode Island School of Design- both Museum School and Continuing Ed., and Creative Arts Workshop and Educational Center for the Arts in New Haven.
